Hardware needed:

Tablet, USB to MicroUSB adapter, CO/CT Programming Cable

1. Download the latest door files:

  • Actions -> Manage Property -> Door Operations
  • If the message in the center circle does not say "Count of door files: 0", select "Clear Door Files"
  • Select "Continue" at the "Confirm Clear Door Files" prompt.
  • Tap "Download Door Files"
  • The "Door Program Download" window will appear. Select the unit groups to download, or check the "Select All" checkbox at bottom of the window.
  • Click "Download".
  • The dialog will show the percentage completed
  • When the message "Download completed successfully" appears, tap "Done".
  • The count of door files will now show the number of files that have just been downloaded.
  • Note: If new doors have been added to the site, the count of door files may change from previous downloads of the same unit groups.

2. Connect the tablet to the lock:

  • Attach the CO/CT cable to your tablet using the USB to Micro USB adapter.
  • Attach the "box" end of the CO/CT cable to the USB socket of the lock.
  • Press the Schlage button twice (should do green - red)
  • From the "Door Operations" menu, select, "Connect to CO/CT Lock".
  • The tablet will connect to the door and say "Connected" and either the door name or "Unknown".
  • The lock light will blink red.

3. Program the lock:

  • Before programming the lock, check the lock time. The time at the bottom of the center circle might be red with a clock. This means the lock's time is different than the tablet's time. If this is the case, select "Set Door Time" to set the time before proceeding with programming.
  • To program the lock, select "Program Door" (if the center circle is showing the door name) or Select Door to Program (if the center circle is showing "Unknown").
  • Once the door programming is complete, the app message "Door programming successful" will display and the lock lights will blink fast red-yellow.
  • Disconnect the cable from the lock.
