To replace a defective BE467/FE210 lock, you will need to first remove the old lock from the device list in Engage, commission the new lock in Engage, and program the new lock with StratIS.


  • Remove Defective Lock from Engage Site

iOS:

  • Open the Engage app, log in, and select the property the lock is currently associated with
  • Go to the Devices tab
  • Find the lock in the list of devices
  • Swipe to the Left and a red Delete button should appear.
  • Tap the Delete button. The lock is now no longer associated with this property.

Android:

  • Open the Engage app, log in, and select the property the lock is currently associated with
  • Go to the Devices tab
  • Find the lock in the list of devices
  • Press and hold on the lock
  • Tap the trashcan that appears in the top right. The lock is now no longer associated with this property.

  • Commission Replacement Lock in Engage
    • Select Site and Lock:

      • Log into Engage
      • Select your Site
      • Tap "Connect" on tab at bottom
      • Tap "+" at top
      • Tap "OK on "Commission Device" screen
      • Select your uncommissioned device

    • Lock Setup:
      • Tap "Add"
      • Tap "Yes" for "is lock blinking"
      • Give lock name that matches door name in StratIS
      • Tap Finish

  • Program the new lock with StratIS
    • Download Door Files
      • Actions -> Manage Property -> Door Operations -> Download Door Files
      • Select the sections of the property to download latest files for, or select all checkbox at bottom.
      • Click Download.
      • The dialog will show that the download completed.
      • Door File Count may change if you added new doors.
    • Program Lock
      • Connect to Bluetooth
      • After lock scan Tap lock name
      • After connect tap "Done"
      • Tap "Program Door"
