Have you programmed the key from the Places menu?

  • The key will only work on the door after it has been programmed with the MT20W Enrollment Reader.

Did you clear and download the door files after adding the unit and programming the key? 

  • Clearing the door files and re-downloading them are crucial to successful door programming. 

Did the app take longer than a split second to program the door?

  • Sometimes programming the door looks like it happens correctly but the door is not actually programmed. You can usually tell this if the app says Programming Door and quickly flashes to saying Door Programmed Successfully, without actually taking the necessary amount of time to program. This is okay, simply try again until the door takes a second or two to program.
