If you are experiencing issues programming keys due to a loose cable connection, please attempt the following:

  1. Verify that the cables are completely plugged in and attempt to program a key. 
  2. Attempt to program a different key, this will help you verify that the issue is related to the cable. 
  3. Swap out the Micro USB to USB adapter (2 inch cable) on your iButton Fob Programmer with the one on your iButton Door Programmer ( 2-prong cable) and attempt to make a key.
